This group covers the other places gardeners shop and the businesses that turned up next to garden centers on the map: gift and home decor stores, pet and grocery stores with seasonal plants, craft and antique shops, and local services that do not fit a gardening category. Supermarkets and home stores are useful for a quick bag of potting soil or a pot of herbs; a nursery is the better choice for advice and plants suited to your yard.

Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Athens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was sold a defective product that I have purchased before and Bri would not replace it. I wish I would have tested in the shop before leaving, she said I could have dropped it in the water in the meantime? As a repeating customer I was so surprised, horrible customer service, who doesn’t replace a defective product when I came back before they closed then immediately the next day? I’m so disappointed and my friends and I will never be back. Head to Franny’s farmacy for a better loyalty program, bigger selection, and better service just down the road instead 🙂 Update after business response: It seems Bri still can’t seem to comprehend that she sold me a defective product, which is why I came back at your next first opening the next day, not multiple days later. I did not break a device? You admitted they’re sometimes duds and don’t work well, so to now say that i need your “tips” is just you being rude, thank you for demonstrating your bad service in your response Bri! Read the review twice before responding next time girl ;)

I have cancer and this place has been a lifesaver. They have a great selection of good quality merchandise at reasonable prices. Their knowledgeable staff helped immensely with product recommendations (including a vape pen that doesn't trigger my athsma!); making my high pain and bad mental health days significantly more manageable so I can function.

I visited Urban Greenhouse this weekend! I must say their grand opening was a wonderful time with live music (which was an absolute treat). My wife and I also got to see some amazing local artists and their work! We finished our time at Urban Greenhouse by purchasing some gifts! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! I’m definitely going back!

Absolutely love this place! From the minute you walk in, the atmosphere and staff are SO welcoming! Cute little shop with some of the BEST prices I’ve ever come across. The staff are extremely kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of my questions and helped me find exactly what I wanted.
